brushstroke

We brushed colour onto the transparent glass surface, then blew another layer of coloured paint on top. Mixing colours through the brush’s unevenness produced a natural effect like wood grain or stone. The tense perfection of the glossiness and smoothness inherent to glass fuses with the imperfect texture of handwork to create an unusual material, employed here for an eight-piece collection including a side table, console, bench and dining table.
