AURA Water Server
A sleek and seamless design for a water dispenser to minimize its presence within a living space. Gently pressing the front panel reveals the water spout, extends the drip tray, and turns on the power. An LED light installed at the top also switches on, making it easy to see your glass in low-light conditions. The drip tray catches any excess water from the spout, and pushing it back in after use returns the front panel to its original flush position while automatically turning the power off. The design minimizes hygiene concerns commonly associated with traditional dispensers, where the external spout and tray are constantly exposed. A single, streamlined motion, designed to perform multiple functions, also helps prevent forgetting to turn the power off as well as accidental activation. Unlike most water dispensers that are outfitted with side handles for installation and transport, the model incorporates an indentation in the front and a hidden handle on the back, maintaining a clean, flush side profile.
Similarly, the top surface has a clean, flat finish with the control panel placed towards the front. This allows users to activate the settings comfortably without needing to bend down, while also preventing accidental use by small children. The control panel consists of three physical buttons for selecting different water-dispensing methods and a touch sensor button for choosing five temperature modes. To conceal the presence of the buttons, the display turns off when the power is off.
The lower part of the unit stores the water tank, and this bottom-load design allows effortless container replacement with no heavy lifting required. Installation is also completed simply by inserting a suction pump from the top, eliminating the need for flipping tanks upside down. Significantly reducing the hassle of bottle replacement, it is an easy-to-use, convenient system for elderly users, children, or anyone with limited physical ability.
The long slits along the unit’s front edges on the sides serve as both a design element and a buffer that reduces visual clutter, preventing interference between components like door hinges, handles, and the front and side panels. Elements that could otherwise become distracting, such as the open/close door button and lock, are also cleverly concealed within these slits.
The result is a water dispenser designed to blend seamlessly into its surroundings, offering a stress-free minimal presence for both users and the living space.
