tomoshi

A portable lamp designed for renowned global Danish lighting brand, Louis Poulsen. Inspired by the traditional tulip-shaped oil lantern, tomoshi is easily carried with its leather strap stored at the top of the lamp. It illuminates any space with a soft, low glow if placed on a table, or casts a warm radiance from above when hung from a wall or ceiling. There is an easily accessible flat button on the back of the lighting for ON/OFF control and three dimming settings. Available in a matte-finish body, in both off-white and deep brown-black.

Portable lamps are increasingly slimmer and flatter as LED and battery technologies advance. For tomoshi, the cozy familiarity of a classic oil lantern was embraced in a minimal and functional design in hopes that it would seamlessly integrate into everyday life.
